Bishop Paul Weatherly

~Ambassador of Apostolic Church History~

Bishop Paul Weatherly was baptized, and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1971 under the pastorate of the late District Elder, John E. Waits.

In 1982, under the pastorate of his father, Elder A.H. Weatherly, he began preaching the gospel. After his father's demise, Bishop Paul Weatherly moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and sat under the late Bishop Melvin Boyd of Nashville, TN.

After leaving Tennessee he sat under the late Bishop Rayes Soto in Bettendorf, Iowa.

He then moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he sat under the pastorate of Elder Jerry Johns Sr, and later, Pastor Jack Vent also of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He then became Assistant Pastor to the State Elder of Oklahoma, Elder Charles Smith of Porum, Oklahoma. In February 2015, God sent Bishop Weatherly to Sand Springs, Oklahoma to open the work where the church is now located at, 612 North Franklin Ave. Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

In May 2015, he was Ordained to preach the gospel by; The Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ International. God began to move mightily in the services, and many souls have been baptized in Jesus' Name, and filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.

His vision for this church is summed up in his motto: "Bring me your broken and huddled masses for the Healer is in the house."  Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest; Matthew 11:28.

As a member of the organization "Christ Apostolic Temple Inc" he became Bishop elect in the beginning of 2019, and was fully consecrated in July, 2019 Bishop over Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana.
